Icmeler is the one of the most trendy holiday destination in Turkey, principally for the Brits. Icmeler is in the south west of Turkey, and just 5 miles away from Marmaris and just 75 miles to the west of Dalaman airport and bordered by rocky, forested foothills that drop quite sharply down to the coast.

Icmeler, a beach town located at a distance of less than a ten minutes ride by bus from Marmaris in the southwestern part of the country is the best resort town in Turkey. I had a great experience at this place. The best things of Icmeler apart from the beautiful sandy beaches are the accommodation and food.

Most of the Icmeler hotels are not old and hence, they have all the modern amenities required by Europeans tourists like me. All hotel in Icmeler are well equipped and have comfortable and clean rooms. Most of the Icmeler hotels include a bar, pool with seating area and restaurant. The breakfast and lunch I had was all English, but the menu includes many continental cuisines too.

All the hotels organize some great night programmes. Late evening entertainment shows by restaurants include celebrity impersonators, robot dances, belly dances and the best that I liked was the waiter’s dance, where all the waiters of the restaurant dance for the guests.

Some Icmeler hotels also have karaoke competitions and discos. The hotel I stayed in had both and I attended both of them and danced too.

Almost all Icmeler hotels are located near the sea giving you a great view of the Mediterranean. Some hotels even have the famous Turkish baths.

My holiday in Icmeler was very wonderful and coupled with the excellent Icmeler hotels, the town is sure to give you a great experience.

Icmeler in Turkey is a preferred destination for tourists. It is a beautiful blend of modernization and authenticity. Icmeler in Turkish means to drink. We enjoyed Icmeler by jeep safaris and boat trips. The beaches are exceptional. The untouched villages are known for their clean and long stretched beaches.

 

Horse riding, rafting and ice skating are some of the best activities that you can try out in Icmeler. The locals helped us a lot while travelling.

Icmeler Turkey holiday resorts have a whitish brown beach spreading around a curve bay. They include exclusive restaurants, a variety of bars and a fantastic place for shopping. It has an ambience of green hills.

Shopping was an unforgettable feeling. The Wednesday markets will have everyone splurging away. We did a walking and hiking tour to know the place better.

It is considered as one of the cream of Turkey. Its beauty, nature, civilization and transportation made my trip pleasant and memorable. I found so many families around spending quality time along the beach and the aqua parks around.

I learnt diving in a dive school and did some white water rafting that made it an extraordinary experience.

Summer was fun in the beach. Buffets were awesome with a wide spread of oriental and Chinese edibles. Food and drinks are more pocket friendly at Icmeler Turkey resorts.

enchantment , the hospitality are the attraction of this place. This is one of the dream places of travelers.

Some of the worlds best preserved monuments of the historical times including the Mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world , the amphitheatre, great medieval castle built by the Knights of Rhodes. ,the Myndus Gate and others.

Once started if you wish to just sit and watch the sea ,you can have here on the west side of the peninsula and  as there are many restaurants and bars along the sea where you can have a cocktail sip watching the sea waves .

To have a peaceful out of world evening you can go to a villages ,get along with the locals ,on the sea coast and have a very quiet sea view away from the crowded trafficked city ,enjoy the culture of the Turkish Villages .The villagers are cooperative and helpful in every ways. They arrange the markets on week days where you can buy local
materials made by the villagers. You need to bargain but they are not annoyed if you don’t buy one.

You want to play in waters ,you have the the best yachting, boating  and diving options available here at Bodrum. You want a ride on the water ,go on the luxury boat Blue cruise and have a closer view of the sea ,bay, the hills ,forests and villages .

You can also go swimming in the sea after the sun starts sitting.

You an go shopping in Bodrum through the white streets (most of the houses are painted in white) and buy Turkish items like the carpets, bronze and copperwares, clothes.

For those searching for a great nightlife in Bodrum you can go partying all night available in the restaurants and bars mainly on the east side of the peninsula. There are also Belly dance, foam dance and dance parties of Turkish culture are held at many popular open theatre Halikarnas ,where more than 4000 people gather and watch the shows.

Night life are great with the dance parties or you can share talks with the local groups of people ,sit on the sea coast and get relaxed.
